For more than ten years, Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s top internet provider, has been a leader in promoting Esports. They’ve achieved this by sponsoring gaming tournaments across the country. Recently, Dialog partnered with the Sri Lanka Esports Association (SLESA) to help train and improve the skills of Sri Lankan gamers. This partnership also aims to bring organized Esports competitions to every region of Sri Lanka. By having the widest 4G network in Sri Lanka and constantly improving it, Dialog is working to bridge the digital gap. This allows Esports to thrive even in remote areas. A great example of this is the recent SLESA “Free Fire Tourney,” where the winning team came from Moneragala district, proving that talent can emerge from anywhere with good internet access.
